Bedroom blaze probed

A fire took hold of a first floor bedroom at a flat in the Manningham area of Bradford on Friday. No one was home when firefighters were called to the flat in Blenheim Road by a neighbour at 8.30pm. Smoke was pouring from the bedroom window and the bed was found to be on fire. The fire crew confined the damage to the bedroom and the cause of the blaze in under investigation.
